Woohoo! Finally got a scanner!

Posted by Hyptosis - July 14th, 2013

I've been without a scanner for a while, which is why I've not be releasing any new games. I do a lot of work on paper first, working all digital is nice and all, but I like my ink. It's nothing fancy, but it was nice of newgrounds to get it for me. :P

More power to ya, madman.

Thanks!

That is awesome! Can we see more of Ashbane now?

Working on it right now! :O

That thing looks amazing! I feel you though, ink and paper can't be beat

I agree! <3

I expect great games from you now.

Hope I can deliver. ;_;

its nice to get away from technology for a bit.

I hear that.

Newgrounds didn't get anything. This is just an average black Canon scanner with a Newgrounds sticker slapped on it.

Why you bastard!

Scaner pff, Newgrounds sent me jar of dicks.

That's JUST like them! -_-

you know you can make a bit more cash now
im willing to shell out anywere from 100$ to 300$ for a signed framed handrawn print from you
300x500

Yeah, a few times I've debated selling some limited edition prints. It can be pretty taxing organizing that stuff though, and there is the risk of not being able to sell all of the prints done.

Isn't she a beaut!

I knooow! <3 *swoon*

What's a nice game developer, writer and artist such as yourself, doing in a dive like this? You should've been hired by some big, loving software company by now :(

Haha, I've had a few offers but they always come with *move here* and I don't want to move. I plan to live in the sticks my entire life, and I don't want to be surrounded by concrete and starbucks.

Dude, seriously glad you're getting into the swing again! And completely understand the feel for good old paper and ink. Though I type a good bit of my short stories on microsoft word, I still love to write at my desk with a lamp by my side. Can't wait for your next release!

That's awesome -- just one of the many things that puts Newgrounds in a class of it's own. Glad to see you're back in action! :)

I completely understand why, since I live on a farm myself. Better to suffer the slings and arrows of insects, unremoved snow and critters, than the trappings of an urban lifestyle (where zombies and deluded hordes lie in wait). Very glad to hear you're happy and not wanting!
