Wolfsong Updates!

Posted by Hyptosis - July 16th, 2015

I started a new tileset last night, you can see it in aciton here! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duPP5JH4tgk

Also the kickstarter is still going, but we're off to a slow start so I fear for the worst. Still, I've learned a lot, and haven't lost anything but the time I put into it. - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hyptosis/wolfsong

And of course the greenlight, the greenlight is actually doing really well, so I dunno what that is all about but I'll take it! - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=481286518

You want to get your kickstarter to lift off, right? Well your going to need to keep all the info you have on the game on each and every one of your news posts, rather it be on newgrounds or any other site that you can do it on. Especially the links, kickstarter is a mess and is extensively hard to navigate thru especially for people that are new to it. People don’t want to search thirty minutes to find your game page it makes people give up and leave thus losing you customers. Also by not having it up you lose viewership, if they can’t see the news it’s not there fault for not knowing about it.
People know your name and they know your logo’s especially the women’s voice (its music to some peoples ears). I want to see your logo everywhere people need to know that it’s your game and not just a pretty picture where the artist might know how to make a game. Not you, the person that has been entrancing me and many other people with you fantastic games and ability to tell stories since 2009. Even mainstay youtubers like Markiplier play your games. People have been introduced to you they might have never played your games before but they now know your name, they know your logo, so show it off to the world.
Now I see what you have been doing with your social media and YouTube. You have been giving details on the game as a way to entice people to join in. good on you for that nice productivity. Plus for a guy that is new to YouTube you are actually entertaining, defiantly shy but entertaining none the less. Sadly your lacking and this isn’t a sense of how you do YouTube. What you are lacking is blogs and storyboards. What I mean is that people want to know what you have been up to, what you have done for the game, and how you have improved it. They want to hear your voice; they want to hear you talk about what you have done. Your extremely creative let it be the hook that pulls people in. You have built a community let them in on what you are doing it gets them more interested plus vlogs make us feel like we know you and just having people feel that way goes a vary, vary long.
You might be wondering what is storyboard is supposed to be, storyboard is what its name implies it is a blog like post that acts as a guide or folklore for a game. Your world is big enough to do this. Most people that do games can’t do this because they don’t have enough lore, yours world spans across seven years of development maybe even more. You have things to say, you have the lore and you have the characters, people want to listen to it, people want to know more. They need to know more. Make people believe in your work make them fall in love with your universe every time you update your story. Let your folklore become an addiction for them. Make them want you and your story, because when they truly do they will fallow you to hell and back to see your goal accomplished. I am one of those people. I can’t stop thinking about how it will turn out; I want to see your game to completion. You’re on a timer and it would break my hart if you failed. You have the resources don’t let them go to waste.

Sincerely
A devoted fan

P.s Have you tried out patron its like kickstarter but use a monthly income.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll see what I can do! :D
